IB Curriculum MYP/DP
Grade Levels
IB curriculum are split into the following grade levels:
- PYP
- MYP
- IBDP
Tutoring in MYP and IBDP
Alpha Tutor works with students who are in the IB program staring from the primary years program (PYP) and into the Middle Years Program (MYP) and all the way to the IB Diploma Program (IBDP). We offer specialized tutoring programmes for students who are in the International Baccalaureate curriculum in the following subjects:
- English Reading/writing
- Math
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
MIDDLE YEARS PROGRAMME – IBMYP
- For age 11-16
- Teachers use key concepts from their own subject group(s)—as well as key concepts from other subject groups—to plan disciplinary and interdisciplinary units of inquiry.
- Teachers identify one key concept that drives the unit’s development.
- Students who complete the IBMYP are well-prepared to undertake the IB Diploma Programme (DP) or Career-related Programme (CP).

IB DIPLOMA PROGRAMME
The IBDP curriculum is made up of the DP core and subject groups. DP core aims to broaden students’ educational experience and challenge them to apply their knowledge and skills.
